About the position

The Senior Data Analyst for Customer Product Analytics at Realtor.com is responsible for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of products aimed at enhancing the home buying and selling experience. This role involves deep insight analysis, A/B experimentation, and innovative measurement techniques to support product stakeholders in making informed business decisions. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive actionable insights and improve product performance, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of simplifying real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary partner for cross-functional stakeholders to understand product performance and drive actionable insights.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis using advanced techniques such as A/B experimentation and statistical modeling to evaluate consumer product performance.
  • Identify and size opportunities for product enrichment, forecasting potential impacts on business performance.
  • Collaborate with Product stakeholders to unlock opportunities and improve data architecture and visualization capabilities.
  • Analyze key drivers of the Net Promoter Score for seller-focused products and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis and create impactful data insights from analytic plans to end-of-analysis summaries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Math, Economics, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience using data to analyze product feature performance is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL.
  • Experience with data exploration and visualization tools such as Tableau, Shiny, or Streamlit.
  • Experience with cloud-based data environments such as AWS and Snowflake.
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and vlookup.
  • Understanding of experimentation and statistics concepts, including confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
  • Ability to think strategically and analyze product performance drivers.
