About the position

The Senior Data Analyst (Homes) position at Group involves leading business analysis to support strategic business development within the Homes division. The role focuses on collaborating with product, marketing, and sales teams to analyze data, develop business intelligence tools, and ensure data quality. The analyst will design and maintain BI systems, automate data infrastructure, and provide training on BI tools, all while contributing to the growth of one of the fastest-growing real estate portals in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis in support of strategic business development.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide tools and resources for data access and analysis.
  • Design, build, and maintain business intelligence (BI) systems that meet the needs of product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems to ensure smooth operation and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Develop automated data infrastructure by working with software engineering and product teams to implement tracking needs and create automated scripts using SQL or Python.
  • Develop and implement data quality procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and data warehouses such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Analytics.
  • Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience working with large consumer datasets to drive insights.
  • Experience working with product and tech teams.
  • Background in the residential or commercial real estate industry.
