About the position

The Senior Data Analyst (Performance Marketing) will support affiliate and influencer channel insights to drive customer acquisition and engagement for clients. This role involves overseeing client reporting and forecasting, conducting strategic analysis to identify trends, and collaborating with various teams to align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex data needs while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively use reporting tools to compile standard and customized client performance reports.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming ad-hoc reporting requests with minimal guidance.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in all data analysis shared with clients.
  • Create reporting models and projections for clients, including ROI models to support proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and inform decisions based on insights.
  • Conduct efficiency analysis to uncover growth opportunities in program management tools.
  • Extract learnings and recommendations from raw data, including campaign ROI analysis.
  • Support the Client Services team with postmortem recaps and performance insights after campaigns.
  • Monitor partner health metrics and create dashboards to identify channel risks.
  • Communicate program and campaign performance clearly to clients and account teams.

Requirements

  • Solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (Excel, SPSS, SAS).
  • Mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, and present substantial data sets.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills to simplify complex data insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in data analysis or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience in managing large, cross-functional initiatives with competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the entertainment, media, and/or subscription businesses.
  • Experience in affiliate and/or influencer marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MMM/MTA reporting suites.
  • Knowledge of the affiliate landscape and client-specific brand performance.
