About the position

Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a Senior Data Analyst. The Senior Data Analyst will be part of the Customer Experience organization and will sit on a balanced product team. This resource will frequently partner with other Senior Data Analysts along with UX, Product, and Engineering resources to help identify and solve complex friction points related to the customer's journey. The Senior Data Analyst will need to be an expert with SQL, writing complex queries from scratch, building out new data sets, and compiling the findings into a digestible self-service Tableau dashboard for Senior Leadership. The goal is to determine the frequency of occurrences, the value, and how to quantify the data. We aim to answer these questions and build products around them. The nature of this work involves creating new data sets rather than leveraging existing ones. The type of data this resource will be pulling/analyzing is related to customer communications (email, SMS).

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection, analysis, validation, cleansing, and reporting
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures
• Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external sources
• Responds to data inquiries from various groups within the organization
• Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports
• Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required

Requirements

• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Candidates who have supported analysis associated with the post-sale journey of a customer, focused on the end customer outcomes or have worked to solve customer friction points at the root are highly sought after
• Background supporting the customer experience, or retail are highly preferred
• Strong business acumen
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional partners
• Expert in SQL
• Tableau experience
• Strong communication skills
