About the position

The Senior Data Analyst at iSeatz plays a critical role in supporting the Data Solutions team by providing analytical support that drives impactful business outcomes. This position involves collaborating with various internal teams and clients to ensure data-driven decisions align with business strategies, while also mentoring junior analysts and contributing to data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the client delivery excellence team and internal departments to ensure data-driven decisions align with business strategies.
  • Serve as the main data liaison between iSeatz, the client, and relevant stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Be the primary point of contact for executives, facilitating communication and delivery of insights, including preparation for quarterly business reviews.
  • Prioritize and manage competing projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment between stakeholders.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify key trends and actionable insights.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau to track business performance.
  • Utilize SQL, Python, and other tools for advanced data analysis, providing strategic recommendations based on insights.
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives, ensuring data integrity, security, and privacy standards are upheld.
  • Support the broader iSeatz data strategy, aligning client-specific projects with the company’s long-term data objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts, ensuring consistent development of analytical skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with proven experience supporting large-scale financial institutions or complex organizations.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and advanced SQL skills, with proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and a solid understanding of data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and maintaining attention to detail across multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, manage client relationships, and adapt communication style to diverse audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques or advanced statistical analysis; e.g. time series forecasting, anomaly detection.
  • Prior experience working with large clients in a B2B environment, particularly in tech, banking, or travel sectors.
  • Exposure to ETL processes and data pipeline management.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and reporting.
