About the position

The Senior Data Analyst at Greenlight will play a crucial role in the Product Analytics team, focusing on deriving actionable insights from complex data sets to support cross-functional business needs. This position involves mining internal consumer data, creating reports and dashboards, and communicating findings to stakeholders to drive better business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for data, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Digging deep into internal consumer data to speed up decision making and improve key business metrics.
  • Explaining the 'what' and 'why' of data results to stakeholders.
  • Performing quality assurance and ongoing monitoring of current reports and data for accuracy and usage.
  • Making connections between seemingly unrelated data and thinking creatively to solve problems.
  • Communicating the importance of data patterns and suggesting actionable solutions.
  • Bridging gaps between data and business by working with cross-functional teams to create actionable insights.
  • Developing and maintaining advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using tools like Tableau, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
  • Building statistical analyses using tools such as Python or R.
  • Modifying existing reports and dashboards as directed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Data Analyst or Data Science experience with strong analytical instincts.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and advanced skills for data extraction and visualization.
  • Enterprise data warehousing experience, preferably with Snowflake or other cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent data visualization skills, preferably using Tableau, with knowledge of best dashboarding techniques.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with other teams and departments.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or another scripting language, along with associated statistical and data science packages.
