About the position

The Senior Data Analyst position is a contract role with a duration of over six months, offering long-term potential. The role is hybrid, requiring local candidates to work three days a week in the office located in El Segundo, CA. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing large and complex datasets, utilizing various BI tools and technologies to derive insights and support product initiatives within the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Utilize SQL, Tableau, and other BI tools to create reports and visualizations.
• Lead initiatives and projects without direct managerial control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product initiatives.
• Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to evaluate product performance.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and storytelling.
• Proactively identify and solve problems related to data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, or computer science.
• 2-6 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or management consulting.
• Deep technical knowledge of SQL and Tableau.
• Experience with Python, PowerBI, and other BI software.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Palantir, and Databricks is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert insights into product initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the telecommunications, high tech, or software industries.

• Experience with executive storytelling and presentations.
