About the position

The Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in building the Analytics and Data Engineering function within the Marketing business unit at Consolidated Communications. This position involves leveraging both structured and unstructured data to provide actionable insights that drive business performance, particularly in areas such as operational efficiency, customer acquisition, and churn. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the ability to produce reports and dashboards that inform decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support the marketing team with a variety of analysis, business cases, and capabilities.
• Provide actionable insight into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency, churn, and customer acquisition.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with other analysts and data engineers on the needs of the Marketing Datamart for analysis, decision-making, and automation.
• Develop and enforce data quality standards throughout the data pipeline.
• Collaborate with data quality specialists to address data anomalies and issues.
• Present results and findings to stakeholders and senior leadership as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in analytics, visualizations, and programming.
• Advanced experience in Python and SQL required.
• Experience with Oracle, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, and ETL technologies.
• Experience in Tableau, PowerBI, or DOMO required.
• Proficiency in SQL is essential for data management and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience as a data analyst, data engineer, data scientist, or in a similar role.
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle database design.
