About the position

As a Senior Data Analyst at Booz Allen, you will leverage your data analytics expertise to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that support national security missions. This client-facing role involves collaborating with clients to understand their data needs, providing deep insights into their data environments, and advising them on how to utilize this information effectively. Your work will contribute to impactful decision-making across multiple organizations, utilizing your skills in data visualization, SQL, and Tableau to present findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support client and stakeholder relationships using data analytics expertise.
• Research, develop, and test data methodologies to generate cross-functional solutions.
• Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
• Simplify technical requirements and trends based on audience needs.
• Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators.
• Apply data visualization techniques to present data in various formats.
• Develop user-friendly visualizations to meet business and mission needs.
• Create, enhance, and maintain data visualizations using Tableau.
• Develop interpretive statements based on analyses and available information.

Requirements

• Experience using SQL to ingest data sets.
• Experience using Tableau to create dashboards and visualizations.
• Experience with collection reporting.
• Experience developing data standards or operating data governance efforts.
• Experience evaluating and monitoring data quality using database tools.
• Knowledge of IC reporting data standards and formats.
• Ability to develop data standards or interface documentation.
• Ability to implement software tools for data governance and specification.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems or Library Science.
