About the position

The Senior Data Analytics Engineer will be a key member of the Corporate Reporting and Analytics team, responsible for creating and maintaining data pipeline architectures to support stakeholder needs. This role requires a strong background in data analytics, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data pipeline architectures to meet the needs of stakeholders.
• Solve complex business problems with high-quality maintainable code.
• Ensure data is prepared for easy visualization and reporting.
• Gather data from various sources.
• Communicate complex technical topics in an understandable manner to management and peers.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and tools.
• Advocate for leading data practices to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide high-quality documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in the data space or comparable experience.
• Practical experience with SQL (preferably MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with visualization tools such as matplotlib, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Superset.
• Basic understanding of predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and data mining.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
