About the position

The Senior Data Analytics Engineer at Rad Power Bikes will play a crucial role in building and enhancing data products and infrastructure. This position involves providing strategic data oversight and support to various teams and leadership within the company, contributing to data-driven decision-making and insights across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data models in dbt/Snowflake and build dashboards and reports in Tableau to support different areas of the business
  • Maintain, support and enhance the existing data ingestion pipelines that move data from third party sources to our consolidated Snowflake data warehouse
  • Collaborate with Rad's developers to identify, test, and integrate new data sources that drive data-driven insights
  • Compile, analyze, and present business data and reports to stakeholders, supporting decision-making across the company

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, or other relevant fields
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL to retrieve and transform data in an enterprise data warehouse environment (e.g. Snowflake)
  • 2+ years of experience building data visualizations in Tableau, with a portfolio showcasing intuitive and interactive dashboards
  • 2+ years of experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for developing, version-controlling, and deploying modular SQL code
  • Proven track record in creating impactful data visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences at various organizational levels
  • Strong ability to quickly prototype and convert ideas into high-quality data dashboards
  • Demonstrated capability to derive insights from multiple data sources and provide actionable recommendations to decision-makers

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect
  • Working knowledge of Python, with the ability to develop and maintain custom data ingestion pipelines pulling data from REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related sciences)
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Familiarity with data modeling and schema design
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills, with excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), CRM systems (e.g., Gladly), and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results with a strong bias toward action
