The Senior Data and Reporting Professional plays a crucial role in generating ad hoc reports and regular datasets for end-users, utilizing system tools and database queries. This position involves complex data analysis and integration from multiple sources to produce essential data elements. The professional is responsible for maintaining report formats, dashboards, and other information resources, while also influencing departmental strategy and making decisions on technical approaches for project components.

Responsibilities

• Generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets for end-users using system tools and database queries.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to produce required data elements.
• Program and maintain report forms, information dashboards, and data generators.
• Create specifications for reports based on business requests.
• Influence department's strategy and make decisions on complex issues regarding technical approaches.
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 or more years of technical experience in data reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including linking pivots to external data sources and creating pivot tables
• Advanced Microsoft Access skills including linking to external data sources and data structure design
• Experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations or healthcare data analysis
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS, and other data systems
• Experience with tools such as Tableau and Qlik for data visualizations
• Experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment.
