About the position
The Senior Data Architect position is a remote role focused on providing architectural support for one large project or several small to mid-sized projects within the healthcare industry. The architect will work independently to develop application designs that fulfill functional requirements while collaborating with other domain architects to ensure the solution meets non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, availability, and resiliency. The role emphasizes a strong understanding of digital health trends and data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Work independently as an architect on a small to mid-sized project.
- Develop application designs that meet the functional requirements of the solution.
- Collaborate with architects from other domains to design a solution that meets non-functional requirements.
- Stay mindful of the Healthcare Industry and Digital Health Trends.
- Utilize data modeling and SQL experience in project work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in health care or insurance industries.
- AWS Certification or Exposure (Architect, Sysops, Developer).
- Service Now experience.
- 2+ years of related experience including a minimum of 1 year designing, building and maintaining high quality, security software in IT or relevant business experience.
- High proficiency in modern technologies and languages, development patterns, data modeling, cloud/PaaS, and application integration technologies.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
