About the position
The Senior Data Architect position is a remote role focused on providing architectural support for one large project or several small to mid-sized projects within the healthcare industry. The architect will work independently to develop application designs that fulfill functional requirements while collaborating with other domain architects to ensure non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, availability, and resiliency are met. The role emphasizes a strong understanding of digital health trends and data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Work independently as an architect on a small to mid-sized project.
- Develop application designs that meet the functional requirements of the solution.
- Collaborate with architects from other domains to design a solution that meets non-functional requirements.
- Stay mindful of the Healthcare Industry and Digital Health Trends.
- Utilize data modeling and SQL experience in project work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in health care or insurance industries.
- AWS Certification or Exposure (Architect, Sysops, Developer).
- Service Now experience.
- 2+ years of related experience including a minimum of 1 year designing, building and maintaining high quality, security software in IT or relevant business experience.
- High proficiency in modern technologies and languages, development patterns, data modeling, cloud/PaaS, and application integration technologies.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelors in Computer and Information Science.
- AWS - Amazon Web Services Certified Developer - Associate.
- AWS - Amazon Web Services Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate.
- TOGAF - The Open Group Architecture Framework.
