About The Position
We are looking for a Data Architect, a self-driven senior technical professional to collaborate with our business, Product, and Development teams and help qualify, identify, and build Data & Analytics solutions. As part of the Enterprise Data Team, this position is responsible for actively defining robust, efficient, scalable, and innovative solutions that are custom fit to our needs. The Data Architect will play a key role in working with product and business teams to understand their strategic, business, and technical needs. This involves defining technical architecture roadmaps that help realize business values in both tactical and strategic ways. The architect will also define and continuously update architecture principles in line with business and technology needs, ensuring that the solutions designed are based on established principles. The role includes designing solutions involving data architectures such as data lakes, data fabrics, dimensional marts, and Master Data Management (MDM). The Data Architect will create data flow diagrams and details to establish data lineage and help educate team members in a clear and articulate manner. Partnering with technical leads to identify solution components and the latest data-related technologies that best meet business requirements is essential. The architect will identify gaps in the environment, process, and skills with the intent to address, educate, and bring teams together to drive results. As a thought leader, the Data Architect will educate and share best practices, architecture patterns, and build deep relationships with technical leaders, contributing to publications, white papers, and conferences. Providing support to enterprise data infrastructure management and analysts is crucial to ensure the development of efficient data systems utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies. The architect will create cloud data models and database architecture using database deployment, monitoring automation code, and ensuring the long-term technical viability of cloud master data management integrated repositories. Suggestions for improving system performance and cost reduction will be part of the role, along with communicating data architecture to stakeholders and collaborating with other technical staff. The Data Architect will ensure adherence to enterprise data movement, quality, and accountability standards in technology, conducting data-driven analyses of usage of detailed data elements across the business domain to provide optimal data provisioning patterns across the application space. Possessing excellent quantitative and analytic skills, the architect will influence strategic direction and develop tactical plans, improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to enhance data accuracy, viability, and value.
