TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to assist with their migration to Azure DataBricks. This role is critical as the company embarks on a journey to enhance its data capabilities and modernize its data platform. The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for driving the maturity and development of the Modern Data Platform, contributing to the successful delivery of the enterprise data model, and setting the technical strategy for complex initiatives within the team. The ideal candidate will explore the technical needs of the business and propose robust solutions through a functional data architecture strategy and design. This includes gathering business and functional requirements and translating them into scalable, operable solutions with a flexible and adaptable data architecture. The architect will also need to understand customer pain points and build solutions that make large and complex data more accessible and usable by applications and teams. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Senior Data Architect will work closely with all levels of business stakeholders to architect, implement, and test data-based analytical solutions from disparate sources. Responsibilities also include developing strategies for data acquisition, architecting and maintaining high-performing ELT/ETL processes, and conducting business analysis, event modeling, logical and physical database design, and database optimization. The architect will mentor team members and perform other duties as assigned, ensuring that the data architecture aligns with the overall business strategy and goals.
