About the position

ECS is seeking a Senior Data Architect to provide Data Architecture support for the Army Global Force Information Management (GFIM) Program, specifically within the Training and Readiness (T&R) Domain. The role involves designing the GFIM Objective Environment (GFIM OE) and modeling data assets to support the GFIM Modernization effort, which includes sunsetting 15 portfolio management systems to enhance Force Managers' capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Development of the conceptual and logical data models compliant with Army Business Enterprise Architecture (ABEA) and Office of Business Transformation (OBT).
• Conduct data mining and data call workshops with Key Stakeholders, System Owners, and Functional SMEs.
• Develop the corresponding Data Reference Model to support data reuse.
• Model DIV-1 and DIV-2 models compliant with Army Business Enterprise Architecture and GFM DI standards.
• Establish and execute the plan for migrating legacy data into a new data construct.
• Plan, design, and manage the implementation of data structures, data warehouse, and relational database best practices.
• Provide recommendations on data migration best practices and conduct data source analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong modeling and reporting experience with EKR/ARIS.
• Demonstrated experience with DoDAF 2.0, SDLC, or IT Strategy.
• Clear communication and briefing skills.
• Bachelor's Degree.

• Active Secret Clearance; Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable.
