As a Data Architect at AAA Club Alliance, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture that supports our business objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our data systems are efficient, secure, and scalable, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to gather and understand data requirements, translating them into effective database solutions that enhance our data management capabilities. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of data models, database schemas, and data integration processes. You will be tasked with optimizing data storage, retrieval, and analysis, ensuring data integrity and security while complying with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools that can enhance our data architecture and management processes. You will also define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain high-quality data management across the organization. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support to data engineering and analytics teams, developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards. Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in data architecture, database technologies, and data management will be essential to your success in this role. As part of the team, you will also participate in an on-call rotation to support nightly data processing, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
