About the position

The Senior Data Center Analyst is a key role within the IT Infrastructure organization, focusing on the efficient delivery of IT infrastructure that supports business processes and services across the enterprise. This hybrid contract-to-hire position involves collaboration with various IT towers and business partners to provide strategic oversight for the design, development, operation, and support of IT infrastructures, ensuring they meet business needs throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross-functional oversight and governance for the IT Data Center portfolio.
• Understand Internal Audit findings and develop comprehensive remediation plans.
• Provide visibility into the long-term roadmap for functional and technical changes to the portfolio.
• Align analysts on expectations for quality and thoroughness of deliverables; review work of less experienced staff.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure Architects, IT Application teams, and business unit professionals to support operational processes.
• Drive resolution of operational and service-based issues in the Data Center, analyzing and reporting on Service Provider operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in relevant fields.
• 4+ years of experience in medium-to-large Data Center operations.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory Administration, and VMware administration.
• Experience working closely with service providers and delegating operational activities.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, trends, and best practices.
• Solid skills with enterprise-class servers, operating systems, and productivity software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
