About the position

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Center Asset Management Portfolio Manager to join our growing retrofit data center construction Portfolio Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in data center asset management, particularly in analyzing CMMS data, run-time data, and failure data, as well as evaluating and mitigating operational risk. This senior role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in developing risk models, portfolio planning (utilizing asset data from CMMS into a roadmap for replacement of assets in future years), and capital planning (annual planning using risk scores), who can lead and coordinate accurate risk evaluation for over 1500 projects in a fiscal year. In this role, you will be responsible for data analysis and risk assessment, where you will analyze backlog project data, CMMS data, run-time data, and failure data to identify potential operational risks. You will develop and refine risk models for evaluating operational risks associated with retrofit data center projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate and improve existing risk models. Additionally, you will be involved in tool development and automation, where you will develop automated tool-based requirements for the risk model to streamline risk assessment processes and implement and oversee the use of automated tools to ensure accurate and efficient risk evaluations. Project management and coordination will also be a key aspect of your role, as you will lead and coordinate risk evaluation for over 1500 projects, ensuring timely completion of risk scores. You will plan and manage the risk evaluation process, including setting timelines, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress. Furthermore, you will facilitate and lead meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Stakeholder management and consensus building will be crucial, as you will navigate a highly matrixed organization and build consensus among competing stakeholders, communicating effectively with various departments and levels of management to ensure alignment on risk management strategies and objectives. Your expertise will also extend to frameworks and compliance, where you will apply knowledge and experience in ISO certified asset management and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance and best practices. You will stay updated on industry standards and incorporate relevant frameworks into the risk management process.
