About the position

The Data Engineer role at Deloitte focuses on designing modern data architecture for enterprise-level transformation using advanced cloud architectural principles. This position is integral to helping clients in the Government and Public Services sector leverage data analytics and cognitive technologies to solve complex problems and achieve key mission outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design future-state, modern data architecture for enterprise-level transformation.
• Utilize tools such as Snowflake and/or Databricks to develop advanced analytics products.
• Apply data and statistical programming tools to enterprise data within cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Support all phases of analytic work product development, from identifying key business questions to data collection and ETL.
• Perform analyses using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to deliver insights to decision-makers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field.
• Active TS/SCI Government Security Clearance or above.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience with graph databases like SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with ETL pipelining.
• 5+ years of experience executing data engineering methods using cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
