About the position

The Senior Data Engineer role is designed for an experienced professional who specializes in building and optimizing ETL pipelines within the AWS ecosystem. This position focuses on transforming data into actionable insights and requires collaboration with marketing and analytics teams to ensure seamless data integration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines in AWS (Redshift, S3, etc.)
• Leverage Google Analytics, Tableau, and Alteryx to deliver meaningful insights and reports
• Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to provide data-driven solutions
• Troubleshoot, redesign, and optimize reports and SQL queries
• Write secure, stable, and maintainable code while automating manual processes
• Liaise between business and technical teams to achieve cross-functional reporting objectives
• Document report specifications and processes to ensure data deliverables are met

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in BI development and support
• 3+ years of Python programming experience
• 1+ year of experience with Google Analytics
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau dashboard development
• 3+ years of experience with AWS data tools (Redshift, S3, etc.)
• Strong experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both business and technical teams
• A highly motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• BS degree or higher in a data-related field
