About the position

This position is focused on information management, specifically the design of data architecture, data movement, quality monitoring, and system oversight. The role involves building a high-volume data system from the ground up, working on exciting Machine Learning projects such as automated equipment diagnosis, network anomaly detection, and intelligent RF network optimization. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing scalable systems, implementing data models, and optimizing data pipelines as part of a disciplined data team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a detailed data architecture/data model.
• Solidify ELT pipelines for data processing.
• Optimize pipeline performance and cluster design.
• Enhance query performance and data tool selection.
• Prepare and monitor data for quality and visualization.
• Integrate systems with cloud and device engineers, network engineers, and the Data Science team.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science.
• 5-12 years of experience building large scale, ML/AI models and systems.
• Strong skills in scripting languages (mainly Python, Bash).
• Experience with AWS ecosystem.
• Familiarity with data integration, governance, and quality tools.
• Experience with data warehousing and end-to-end data platforms such as DataBricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and/or Redshift/SageMaker.

Nice-to-haves

• Scala experience is a plus.
