C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Management and Analytics team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines that are accessible, trusted, scalable, and cost-efficient. You will collaborate closely with Analysts, Engineering Product Managers, Data Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, estimate, and implement solutions using modern technologies. This position is open to candidates located in Minneapolis, Chicago, or Kansas City, and offers the flexibility and autonomy of a fully remote work environment. As part of the Robinson Fresh team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the world of data management and analytics. Additionally, you will mentor and coach analysts and engineers through design and code reviews, modeling and sharing best practices, while also proactively seeking mentorship from others. Your role will also involve guiding, mentoring, and influencing the adoption of a cloud-first modern data architectural direction, ensuring that associated standards and best practices are consistently adopted. Maintaining positive, productive relationships and developing thorough technical documentation for the product or service will also be key responsibilities.
