About the position

The Senior Data Engineer at Cox Communications is responsible for developing and supporting frameworks and analytics applications that enable capabilities for reliability operations, engineering, and network service health. This role involves implementing cloud capabilities, building data pipelines, and providing guidance in Agile planning while monitoring emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Enable reliability operations and engineering support, including anomaly detection and ad-hoc support for issues.
• Implement cloud capabilities such as data ingestion, data models, data storage, and high-throughput data processing.
• Build and maintain frameworks in AWS for transitioning analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field, or a master's degree with 2 years' experience, or a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, or 16 years' experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills.
