About the position

The Senior Data Engineer at Cox Communications is responsible for developing and supporting frameworks and analytics applications that enhance enablement capabilities. This role involves Agile planning, providing guidance, and monitoring emerging technologies to ensure operational reliability across various services.

Responsibilities

• Enablement for Reliability Operations, Engineering, Premise and Network Service Health.
• Conduct anomaly detection and provide ad-hoc support for issues, particularly those impacting Long-Range Plans.
• Implement cloud capabilities including data ingestion, data models, data storage, high-throughput data processing, data pipelines, access management, and data monitoring at scale.
• Build and maintain frameworks in AWS for transitioning analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field, or a master's degree with 2 years' experience, or a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, or 16 years' experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills.
