Responsibilities

  • Break down complex problems using appropriate design patterns and best practices.
  • Build automated pipelines that integrate and transport software securely from conception to production.
  • Create a suite of real-time monitoring and automation software for resilient platform operations.
  • Design real-time streams and integrations with external applications.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Oracle SQL, Oracle Forms, and PL/SQL.
  • Implement data storage solutions and perform data modeling to ensure data security.
  • Ingest data from S3 into Snowflake and design data pipelines for various sources.
  • Automate processes to create repeatable and robust deployments.
  • Review client application configuration and architecture.
  • Work in an Agile structure using project management tools like Jira and BitBucket.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Oracle PLSQL programming experience.
  • Experience with other RDBMS like Snowflake and Snowpipe.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and Kafka Stream/Kafka Connectors.
  • Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate for Distributed Analytics.
  • Experience in designing and developing applications to meet industry standards.
  • Knowledge of Linux environments and Unix scripting.
  • Understanding of indexing, querying, and normalization in databases.
  • Ability to automate processes for robust deployments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AWS EC2 and S3.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and core CFT.
