Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior Data Engineer. The Senior Data Engineer will play a crucial role in building out and expanding the current Data Retrieval and Reporting (DRR) processing. This position involves the development and delivery of data migration files, as well as batch recurring data import files. The Senior Data Engineer will also support the development and delivery of a standard data extract file, ensuring that data is efficiently processed and made available for analysis and reporting. Additionally, the role requires the development and automation of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) code using various scripting languages, which is essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, particularly in using ETL or ELT patterns to build automated data pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, as well as experience with Snowflake. The Senior Data Engineer will be expected to leverage their Python programming skills and proficiency in SQL coding to optimize performance and ensure the successful execution of data processes. This position is a contract role, offering competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to work remotely.
