The Senior Data Entry Clerk - Customer Service role is focused on providing exceptional customer service while managing data entry tasks. The position involves handling inbound customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records of interactions, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding issues. The role requires a balance of productivity and quality service, making it essential for candidates to possess strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound calls with varying degrees of questions or concerns
  • Keep record of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
  • Use computer system to track, gather information, and troubleshoot customer issues
  • Achieve productivity standards and goals set by the company while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Perform basic data entry and administrative duties
  • Maintain event tracker used to monitor the status of import purchase orders
  • Email suppliers and internal contacts to follow up on events that are past due

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 2 years experience in Data Entry/customer Service or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make good decisions and resolve issues in a clear, calm, and diplomatic manner
  • Computer literate - Proficient with Email and Microsoft Word
  • Able to work in a team environment
