About the position
The Senior Data Entry Operator I - Lockbox Data Validation role at BNY Mellon is focused on ensuring accurate and efficient data entry processes within the Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations team. This position is essential for maintaining high-quality service for specialized customer accounts and involves working in a fast-paced environment to meet daily operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Daily completion of data entry functions
- Produce expedited, streamlined payment processing for customers
- Handle specialized and sensitive customer accounts
- Assist with workflow execution and quality control checks
- Train partner activity and perform other senior operator duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school/secondary school or equivalent education and experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-1 years of total work experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a high production, fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and learn multiple functions
