About the position

The Senior Data Privacy Analyst will be part of the Global Law and Compliance Department (GLCD) at Wolters Kluwer, responsible for advising on privacy and data protection matters across various business units. This role involves conducting privacy compliance activities, providing guidance on data protection laws, and supporting incident management related to privacy issues. The analyst will work closely with commercial business units to ensure alignment with privacy frameworks and implement privacy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct privacy compliance activities for multiple commercial business units globally.
• Document records of processing and impact assessments as necessary.
• Review business activities for alignment with the Wolters Kluwer privacy control framework.
• Provide guidance on data protection requirements and best practices according to applicable laws.
• Identify and escalate potential privacy compliance risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Support privacy-related incidents and serve on incident management teams.
• Implement and refine roles for privacy champions within business units.
• Coordinate and implement privacy initiatives, policies, procedures, and training.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of significant privacy experience, preferably advising corporate clients on privacy issues.
• Comprehensive understanding of privacy statutes and regulations in the US, UK, and EEA, including GDPR.
• Privacy certification preferred.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and working with multi-stakeholder teams.
• Strong ethical compass, problem-solving skills, and sound business judgment.
• Experience in an international environment with diverse cultures.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
