About the position

The Senior Data Processing Analyst is responsible for managing and interpreting the organization's data systems, covering the entire analysis lifecycle from requirement gathering to design planning. This role focuses on enhancing analytical and reporting functions, supervising performance and quality assurance processes, and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. The position requires an active secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements
  • Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes
  • Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets
  • Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights
  • Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R
  • 2 years of experience in compiling, structuring, examining, and presenting substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness
  • 2 years of experience critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights
  • 2 years of experience in communication and presentation of data capabilities with the ability to simplify complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
  • US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • 4 years of experience in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R
  • 4 years of experience in compiling, structuring, examining, and presenting substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A deep understanding of the industry and business operations is a plus
