About the position

The Senior Data Programmer at Epic Games Store is responsible for developing and implementing telemetry systems, robust data models, and stable ETL processes to enhance the Epic Games Store platform. This role involves close collaboration with Data Science, developers, and business leadership to drive data-driven decisions and improve customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement telemetry to track critical behaviors of customers within our products
• Build robust ETLs and pipelines to support reporting internally and externally
• Facilitate proactive analysis on ecosystem-wide growth & engagement challenges
• Partner with data analysts to develop efficient pipeline architecture for business needs

Requirements

• Ability to design and manage data models and schemas for various business scenarios
• Ability to own solutions end-to-end: designing metrics, building logging specs, developing pipelines, conducting analysis, building readouts, and continuously iterating
• 5+ years developing in Python
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency with Airflow or similar tooling
• Proficiency in Apache Spark
• Experience with Databricks or similar applications
