About the position

The Senior Data Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for writing test plans and scripts to track defects and fixes in various development processes, including product development and software application development. This role requires extensive experience in quality assurance standards and methodologies, with a focus on maximizing business investments through careful testing and validation of processes.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development and software application development.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to validate processes through testing.
• Maximize the benefit of business investments by ensuring quality in software and information systems.
• Lead quality assurance efforts with integrity and accountability.
• Identify the severity of issues and exercise best judgment in addressing them.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance standards and software testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA best practices and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software.
• Practical knowledge in importing data for reporting software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
• Proven data analysis, verification, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent understanding of organizational goals and objectives.
