About the position

The Senior Data Scientist role at Swift is part of the Innovation team, focusing on exploring and developing AI/Machine Learning models for various use cases that leverage data. This position involves designing, developing, and launching new AI/ML products aimed at enhancing the services provided to global banks and financial institutions. The role emphasizes collaboration within a diverse team to ensure that solutions are user-centric, technically robust, and scalable, ultimately contributing to Swift's revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch new AI/ML products for global banks and financial institutions.
• Build Deep Learning and Federated Learning solutions using Global Swift data.
• Advance the value of Swift's services through advanced data science methodologies.
• Enhance and optimize the performance of the Swift Enterprise AI Platform.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related Engineering degree.
• 5 years of hands-on statistical, machine learning, or predictive modeling experience in Python programming using PyTorch libraries.
• 2 years of experience working with business customers to define use cases and explore data science approaches.
• 5 years of experience in software engineering projects following agile methodologies.
• Considerable hands-on experience in deep learning methodologies, particularly with Transformer architectures.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related Engineering degree.
• At least 2 years of experience working in data-driven financial solutions.
• Experience with deep reinforcement learning methods.
