The Multimedia Data Scientist team plays a crucial role in optimizing the app experience for TikTok users, focusing on performance and data-driven solutions. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for identifying high-impact opportunity areas through data mining and strong analytical skills. Experience in the entertainment industry, particularly in streaming or social applications, is a plus. Responsibilities

• Optimize app experience related to performance for TikTok users.

Requirements

• 3 years of hands-on experience in developing statistical models and implementing data science solutions.
• Master or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics or similar field is required.
• Solid skill with Python and SQL programming languages.
• Experience working with large data sets and familiarity with Hive.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of hands-on experience in developing statistical models and implementing data science solutions.
• Experience working in a big-data environment, familiar with Hive, Spark, and similar tools.
• Project experience with data mining and machine learning that have made impacts.
• Experience with user-oriented solutions, particularly in the entertainment industry, streaming, or social applications.
