About the position

As a Senior Data Scientist at Red Hat, you will leverage advanced data analysis, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets, specifically focusing on test results and logs. Your primary goal will be to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality engineering (QE) teams. This role involves utilizing machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) methodologies to train and deploy data-scientific models that support and streamline the work of these teams. In this position, you will be responsible for designing roadmaps and writing Python scripts, ensuring that the models you develop meet high-quality standards for deployment into production. You will analyze data to identify patterns, documenting your findings for further investigation and feedback. Your participation will span the entire lifecycle of AI and ML initiatives, from requirements gathering and designing workflows to preparing schedules and strategizing the end-to-end process in alignment with project scopes and delivery timelines. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with other members of the data science team and the QE teams to provide constructive feedback and suggestions aimed at improving functionality, development, and data analysis. Additionally, you will access and maintain the database of test results and log files, monitor logs, and create dashboards of defects using tools like Grafana and Kibana. Providing technical support and solutions to customers will also be part of your responsibilities.
