About The Position
Medica Services Company LLC has an opening for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer at its facility in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Duties include: analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system; designing, developing, and modifying software systems; monitoring functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications; modifying existing software to correct errors and adapting it to new hardware; analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; creating technical and design documents independently and in collaboration with the Data Architecture team; comprehending and analyzing business requirements specific to Analytics Data Mart; translating requirements into Functional and Technical Specifications for Common Information Model and other Medica Data warehouses; working on database design, data analysis, development, SQL performance tuning, data warehousing ETL process, and data conversions; creating robust applications and services through testing and validations; creating Deployment Plans, Deployment Scripts, Code Merges, and Source Control configuration; developing and creating transformation queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL processes and process automations; shifting the development from Informatica to Snowflake environment to perform ETL; performing root cause analysis and problem resolution for defects and incidents; advocating and helping with advanced testing in support of the Snowflake environment; supporting and maintaining Service Level Agreements established by Medica IT to meet maintenance contracts for all software systems and services; partnering effectively with Data Architects, Business Analysts, ETL developers, PMO, and other IT groups; developing relationships within and outside of Medica IT, Business, and partners.
