Responsibilities

• Install and enhance Oracle databases and Unix systems.
• Monitor database performance and provide solutions to technical issues.
• Collaborate with business units and developers to support student information systems.
• Facilitate student applications, class registrations, and financial assistance processes.
• Support the integration and maintenance of third-party applications that work with Oracle databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related experience in database architecture and administration.
• Six years of Oracle administration experience preferred, with some at the enterprise level.
• Experience with application server support and Unix systems, including shell scripts.
• Development experience in SQL, PL/SQL, groovy, and/or Java is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience supporting third-party application integration with Oracle databases or Banner applications.
