About the position

The Senior Database Analyst will work directly with SCCC leadership and stakeholders to provide innovative and accurate reporting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to designing reports in Excel, Power BI, Adaptive, and other platforms, creating, modifying, and optimizing complex SQL queries and functions, integrating data from diverse sources such as SQL databases and flat files, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to move data between systems, conducting ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and provide actionable insights, and designing custom visuals, KPIs, and reports based on business requirements, ensuring clarity and usability. Experience with Clarity and Epic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design reports in Excel, Power BI, Adaptive, and other platforms.
• Create, modify, and optimize complex SQL queries and functions.
• Integrate data from diverse sources such as SQL databases and flat files.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to move data between systems.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and provide actionable insights.
• Design custom visuals, KPIs, and reports based on business requirements, ensuring clarity and usability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, basic science, or computer related field, or a Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology field may be considered as a substitution for up to two (2) years of related experience.
• 3 years experience in a field directly related to the type of database maintained, including experience working with and maintaining large complex databases.
