About the position

The Senior Database Architect at Propelsys Technologies LLC is responsible for overseeing the design and development of database solutions, ensuring technical specifications are met, and guiding the creation of logical and physical database models. This role involves performing AS IS analysis, defining future states, and assessing potential risks while providing final approvals on various technical documents and modifications to improve the system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the design and review of solution documents and technical specifications.
• Coordinate and guide the design and development of logical and physical models of the database.
• Perform AS IS analysis and define the future state of the database.
• Identify potential risks, assess impact, and define mitigation strategies.
• Perform final review and issue final approval of workflow mapping specifications documents for each functional requirement.
• Review and approve architecture diagrams, process/data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams.
• Oversee the design and development of complex mappings and generation of use cases, user guides, user stories, and QRCs.
• Perform final review and issue final approval of modifications to improve the system and ETL mappings.
• Utilize SQL Developer/Modeler, VISIO, and other tools for database management and design.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in database architecture or a related role.
