The Senior Database Developer / Administrator position at 1fb.net inc is a critical role that involves working closely with development teams to design and implement database solutions that support the Bank's products and services. This position is primarily focused on database logical and physical design, as well as coding database procedures, functions, and packages for new applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in database administration, particularly with Oracle databases, and will have extensive experience in PL/SQL or Postgres programming. The role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams, ensuring that database standards and quality assurance policies are upheld. A strong emphasis is placed on leadership, business analytics, and the ability to plan and coordinate effectively within a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for in-depth database design and the coding of stored procedures that are utilized by custom applications. You will document changes meticulously and adhere to established change control processes. Additionally, you will provide on-call support for the production environment, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly. Collaboration with application development staff is essential to enforce standards and quality assurance policies related to database access. You will also conduct in-depth analyses of the 1FB credit card portfolio for executive reporting and assist in investigating issues related to both new and legacy applications. The position is split evenly between coding and development (50%) and database administration (50%), with an active role in Azure cloud development and migration projects using Postgres DB.
