About the position

We are looking for a Senior Database Developer with extensive experience in Microsoft SQL Server and cloud technologies. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing databases while ensuring high performance and reliability in data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for driving innovative data solutions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize databases.
• Build and maintain ETL processes with SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and other related tools.
• Craft complex packages, stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints.
• Collaborate on database architecture for both on-premises and cloud solutions.
• Support database operations, including backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure and on-premises SQL environments.
• Provide reporting support with SSRS and Power BI.

Requirements

• 7+ years of SQL Server and Azure database experience.
• Advanced T-SQL and query optimization skills.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Power BI, SSRS, DevOps practices, and high availability solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
