About the position

The Senior Database Developer role is focused on leveraging extensive experience in SQL Server and Microsoft Business Intelligence tools to optimize database performance, develop complex queries, and manage database maintenance tasks. This position requires a strong background in ETL processes, particularly with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and the ability to create data visualizations using Power BI. The role is critical for delivering enterprise-level reporting solutions and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of database operations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize 13+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server and MSBI tools, including SSIS and SSAS.
• Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and manage database objects.
• Optimize database performance through tuning and automation of database activities.
• Develop complex queries for applications and business intelligence reporting.
• Handle core database procedures such as upgrades, backups, recovery, and migration.
• Install and configure SQL Server on enterprise servers.
• Design and develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Develop Power BI models and dashboards for data visualization.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and MSBI tools (SSIS, SSAS).
• Proficient in writing complex T-SQL queries and working with database objects.
• Strong skills in optimizing database performance.
• Experience in automating database activities and processes.
• Experience in building Power BI models and dashboards.
• Proficiency in backup, recovery, and migration tasks.
• Experience with MSSQL and MongoDB is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
