About the position

The Senior Database Developer at ManTech International plays a crucial role in designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining database systems to meet customer needs. This position involves collaboration with the development team, providing mentorship to junior staff, and ensuring the effective integration and testing of code. The role is essential for protecting national security through innovative database solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, support, and maintain database systems including hardware, software, and network components.
• Develop effective database systems according to specifications, testing databases, fixing errors and bugs, troubleshooting potential issues, and creating and submitting test reports and database improvements.
• Develop database documentation and provide users with operational manuals and supporting documentation, including information on changes.
• Collaborate with the Development Team to integrate and test code.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT discipline.
• Five or more years of related experience.
• If no degree, four additional years of experience are required.
• If holding an Associates degree, two additional years of experience are required.
• Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.

Nice-to-haves
