About the position

The Senior Database Developer role is a key position within a dynamic organization focused on innovative database solutions. This position requires a highly skilled individual to design, develop, and maintain robust database systems, ensuring efficiency and seamless integration with backend services. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions using Oracle and SQL
• Implement best practices for database schema design, indexing, and query optimization
• Manage backend database operations using node.js, ensuring seamless integration with backend services
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation, ETL processes, and automation
• Design and develop APIs for smooth integration with various systems and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, to ensure efficient data flow and system performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development and design
• Expertise in Oracle and SQL databases
• Proficiency in node.js for backend database operations
• Advanced Python scripting skills for data manipulation and automation
• Experience with API development and integration
• Familiarity with Angular and/or React for front-end development (a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset
