About the position

The Senior Database Marketing Analyst is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and maintaining direct marketing and e-based marketing programs, particularly focusing on hosted and premium players. This role involves liaising with various departments to enhance customer loyalty, support strategic objectives, and drive revenue through effective marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain host programs for high-end players by liaising with Player Development and Special Events.
  • Responsible for maintaining existing customer loyalty-based programs, focusing on hosted and premium players.
  • Maintain database files on all aspects and activities of direct marketing programs to enhance customer loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Track and analyze direct marketing programs, preparing proformas and post-analysis for promotions, tournaments, and player recognition events.
  • Analyze player tracking data and run weekly analytical reports for Player Development.
  • Extract data and lists for marketing direct mail and promotional offers, emphasizing hosted and premium players.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments to ensure accuracy of direct marketing programs.
  • Maintain customer list criteria and develop mailing criteria for all casino programs.
  • Ensure integrity of the database through data entry standardization and cleanliness programs.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Comply with all applicable System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and Tribal Regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or at least three (3) years experience in a Marketing Department, Casino Marketing Department, and/or advertising group.
  • Database Marketing experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Proficient in Access software, SQL Server, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to learn computer languages and/or software systems.
  • Knowledge of Casino Operations database management.
  • Experience with reporting or query programming language, other relational databases, and/or related software packages.
