About the position

Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC) is a CMMI Level III company that has provided technology and management solutions to commercial and government clients across the USA for over 20 years. We are currently looking for a Sr Database-MongoDB to join our team. This senior-level professional will be responsible for designing the overall database architecture for an application or a set of applications based on organization and domain knowledge using MongoDB. The candidate should have experience with high availability and scalability methods and techniques, as well as knowledge of application development, deployment, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design the database architecture for an organization, application(s) using MongoDB
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that can improve the database architecture
• Develop and enforce data security and access controls
• Work with development teams to ensure that applications are designed to be scalable and high-performing
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Develop and maintain applications using MongoDB
• Design database schema and data models for MongoDB-based applications
• Optimize database performance and ensure scalability
• Implement and maintain data security and access controls
• Work with other developers to integrate applications with other systems and APIs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Min 5~7 years of experience in designing database architectures using MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, including its features and functionality and limitations
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in database architecture
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Several years of experience in developing web applications using MongoDB and JavaScript frameworks like Node.js and React
• Familiarity with database design and optimization principles
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Clearance - Preferred
• Active IRS MBI Clearance/Candidate must be clearable
