About the position

The Senior Defensive Cyber Technology Sensing Analyst III at ManTech is responsible for supporting the Cyber Innovation Lead in enhancing Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO). This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including program partners and research entities, to stay updated on advancements in DCO technologies. The analyst will assist in market research, assess proposed innovations, and mentor program managers and engineers in implementing new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Cyber Innovation Lead in collecting and distributing knowledge for the team in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO).
  • Collaborate with program partners, academia, and DoD and IC research entities to stay updated on the latest advances in the DCO field.
  • Work with the TDL and Mission Engagement Leads to understand Mission Partner DCO needs.
  • Assist in market research, academic outreach, and engagement with venture capital and industry.
  • Assess the utility of proposed innovation technologies and document them in the knowledge base.
  • Support the transition of innovations into further development and operations.
  • Partner with Business Development/Growth Teams on potential new work.
  • Alternate between on-contract efforts and innovation search as necessary.
  • Mentor program managers and engineers in implementing new technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Five or more years of related experience in a DoD/IC defensive cyber operations unit.
  • If no degree, four additional years of experience are required.
  • If holding an Associate's degree, two additional years of experience are required.

Nice-to-haves

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH.
