The Senior Deli Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and helping customers make healthy food choices. This position involves preparing fresh meals, managing deli operations in the absence of the Deli Manager, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers.
• Provide high-level customer service in the Deli department.
• Assist customers with catering orders and product knowledge.
• Oversee Deli department operations in the absence of the Deli Manager or Assistant Deli Manager.
• Maintain food safety standards and manage high standards of cleanliness.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers and wrapping machines.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field.
• Dependable and reliable, capable of carrying out lead responsibilities.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift/carry products weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously.
